Centers In Motion

Providing Active, Social, and Educational Activities for Adults 55 and Older

Centers In Motion is a new program offered through the Mifflin-Juniata Area Agency on Aging.  The program was launched in July 2017 thanks to a grant awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. The program includes a wide variety of fun, educational, and interactive activities across our two-county region and is not tied to any one specific building or location.

Part of our mission is to provide a very personal touch by organizing trips and programs that will interest you most! All activities are thoughtfully coordinated with the intention of promoting learning, socialization, and friendship.  We’re also willing to take suggestions on future activities. All ideas are welcome!

Centers In Motion is open to all adults who are 55 years of age and older. If you enjoy staying active, learning new things, and having a good time, then this is the group for you!

Some of the activities we provide include (but are not limited to):

Technology Classes
Dancing
Dinner Theatre
Painting
Hiking
Book Club
Gardening
Photography
Jewelry Making
Museums
Creative Writing
Speakers
Holiday Parties
Shopping Trips
